Job Description
Lead manufacturing engineering performance and improvement activities for a final assembly line in the CC ESP product area.
Develop, maintain, and apply lean manufacturing principles (BPS) throughout the value stream with regards to equipment design, selection, layouts, and material flow.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc…).
Implement/coordinate engineering changes and new manufacturing/product releases (PPAP).
Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.
Plan and execute capital equipment (MAE) acquisition and installation, including preacceptance/final acceptance/safe launch.
Lead daily management of area using MES and other analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures to continuously improve performance.
Assist with business planning activities and manage/lead implementation of expense budgets.
Frequent collaboration with IPN and cross-departmental colleagues to achieve local objectives and benchmark continuous improvement.
