REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
TERRITORY: NEW ENGLAND/BOSTON
SALARY: $90K - $120K (OTE $200K - $220K)
A globally recognized business in the 3D printing industry is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to cover the New England and Boston territories.
The purpose of this position is to grow current business revenues by leveraging the production solutions portfolio through direct sales.
It is key to expand the existing customer base and development of long-term and loyal relationships within this geography.
In this role, you will be a senior member of the sales team and you will sell directly to end users, and assist in production solutions, development, and support. Due to this, you will visit regional and strategic customers and partnerships to achieve revenue and profit targets.
ABOUT YOU:
* Experience with capital equipment sales, qualifying new opportunities, and relationship development in the US Government/DOD environment is critical.
* Can effectively develop and manage customer opportunities to closure within the defined territory.
* Drive and Manage prospect development, sales calls, product demonstrations, and proposals.
* Develop a Production sales and marketing business plan for the assigned region including major accounts/customers.
* Develop and manage the sales funnel by monitoring funnel growth, accuracy, and conversion in Salesforce.
* Provide forecast and manufacturing requirement matrix weekly.
* Play a key support role in the development of major accounts, special applications, and vertical and marketing presentations.
* Play a key support role in the development of marketing, sales, and support programs for current and future sales, products, and other initiatives.
* Participate in all team meetings, training, functions, and events.
EXPERIENCE:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* Experience in the Capital equipment, Machine tools, or Injection Molding industries is desirable.
* Good understanding of engineering principles
PERSON PROFILE:
* Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
* Someone with a positive approach and energy to make things happen.
* Experience with direct sales with some channel management.
* Quarterly personal Production Sales quota achievement.
