Job Description
Developing firmware in C/C++ and assembly languages for embedded servo control system in hard disk drives.
Developing MATLAB tools for processing and visualizing servo parameters in order to analyze the stability robustness of the disk drive. Handling various projects in manufacturing process data analysis, using MATLAB, SQL.
Running test experiments involving different servo designs and features to analyze the servo mechanical characteristics of hard disk drives and providing feedback to Servo Control Design and Mechanical teams.
Collaborating with Mechanical team to perform assessment on impact of mechanical vibration from chassis on servo quality metrics such as head-positioning error and command throughputs.
Performing failure root cause analysis (FA) and providing solution if applicable, participating in the interlock meetings with production teams to provide technical inputs related to production issues.
Collaborating with QA and test engineering teams to support customer qualifications, providing failure analysis support and representing servo team during cross-functional failure analysis task forces.
