The job role of In-Store Staff within Miracle Foods is to assist in the running of a retail outlet as assigned by the MF Regional Supervisor or Retail Operations Manager. The objective of the position defines various tasks for a smooth operation of the retail outlet on a daily basis. The In-Store staff will be requested to embrace the company ethos of serving and assisting the customer in the right and polite manner, going the extra-mile where necessary in order to maintain customer retention at high levels. Additionally, in order to maintain company standards, the In-Store Staff shall see that the assigned retail outlet should be well-kept within all parameters of food hygiene and HACCP standards. The main objective is sales maximization through customer retention.

Duties will include:

Ability to use confidently ISL system

Checks incoming orders with invoices and see that items tally

Up keep of retail outlet  - floors, freezers, door glasses, counters, shelves and common area parts

Stacking and replenishing of products on shelves and freezers within the least possible time from being delivered in an orderly manner

On a daily basis, recording stock levels of fresh items at the end of the day and inform Food Pro through email.

End of day cash takings

Securing cash in safe box

Knowledge of Point of Sale electronic device

Assisting customers with any queries that may encounter in a polite and courteous manner

Daily checking of items and see that outlet is well stacked at all times – any shortages should be forwarded immediately to the department concerned

Use of electric band saw where necessary

Assist and on-the-job training to newly recruits

Seeing that all products are labeled and price tagged

Checking that temperature controlled cold rooms are within the prescribed temperature – any malfunctions should be reported immediately to the department concerned

Ensures safety procedures are adhered to by maintaining cleanliness

Strict adherence to company confidentiality and professionalism

Attends training programs as instructed by the company, during or outside office hours.
