Sr. Accountant

Position Overview: 
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing our financial processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist in the implementation of accounting software and systems improvements.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
