Senior Tax Manager

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and/or partnerships. Our clients range from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses, and we strive to deliver the highest level of service and expertise.
In this role, you will work side-by-side with firm leadership to serve clients and help build our business. You will have a direct impact on our success and will act as a mentor and coach to a talented group of staff, helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide various federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients
Consult on technical matters and special projects in corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC740
Research tax matters, respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities, and make recommendations to clients
Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters in areas such as state and local tax, international tax, and research and development credits and incentives
Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
Develop and execute a business development plan, including networking and building strong relationships internally and externally to acquire new clients and projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or EA licensure
8+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm
5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
Strong analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills
Proficiency in US GAAP and tax consulting and compliance
Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites
Authorized to work in the USA
Requirements
