Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
Receive and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
Collaborate with vendors to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Expense Management:
Reconcile employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Communicate with employees to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining the general ledger by accurately recording transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management.
Communication and Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary financial information.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external parties.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures.
Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
