We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounts payable who is looking for a temporary position in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently.
Verify accuracy of invoices, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system for payment processing.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Prepare and process payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions and documentation.
Assist with month-end close processes as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in accounts payable or related financial role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
