This position provides administrative support through a variety of related responsibilities. The position requires an ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines, the ability to prioritize and multitask, excellent written and verbal communication skills, familiar with computers, detail oriented and organized. MUST be self-sufficient, take initiative, have good judgment and a professional, supportive attitude. Must have an outgoing, open minded personality, reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check. Fluent in English & Spanish is a plus. Previous experience in an office environment or other related fields preferred, but not required we are willing to train the right candidate. Ideally the applicant is someone who would like to grow with our company. MUST be able to work holidays except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This position is a Part Time in the office position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Answer incoming telephone calls and greet guests in a friendly, polite and professional manner.
Maintaining organization/tidiness of the office.
Organize, file, maintain, track and update company files.
Create correspondence or documents through Word Processing and Spreadsheet computer programs, fax, scan and copy printed materials, handle correspondence, prepare reports as required.
Assistant in entering and maintaining employee files
Assistant in other areas throughout the office
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
At least One (1) year of administrative/office experience (preferred but not required)
High School diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license
Intermediate PC skills Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Must possess professional appearance and demeanor
Must possess ability to handle priorities under pressure
Must be able to meet deadlines
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
Interact well with co-workers
Understand and follow work rules and procedures
Accept constructive feedback
Team player
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing at least twenty‑five pounds (25 lbs.) or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment. May operate a motor vehicle.
Benefits
COMPENSATION: $14 - $15/hr to start - Evaluation after 90 days
Health insurance available after 60 days
