Position Purpose:
Provides day-to-day monitoring of equipment, routine lab test, and minor maintenance activities.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Operates equipment manually and through instrument panels, computers terminals, and programmable logic controls units in an assigned area. 
Performs field test (chemical, physical and biological) in order to pace chemical dosages for process and odor control units or alter unit processes. 
Records observations and data in area shift log; diagnoses basic operational problems and takes corrective action; and communicates status, changes, and abnormalities in operating areas. 
Follows process control procedures for assigned areas; verifies and reports suspected malfunctions and variances to supervisor. 
Operates vehicles such as trucks, forklifts, loaders, carts, etc. for plant operational purposes.
