Our client is a multidisciplinary independent group offering a full range of engineering-related services over the mobility, water, energy, building and industrial sectors.
They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Coastal Engineer/Coastal Modeller to work in their Dubai office.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Master's Degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field;
5+ years of related work experience in coastal engineering;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
In-depth knowledge of coastal processes;
Experience with numerical modelling tools such as DHI Suite (MIKE21), Delft3D tools, and TELEMAC;
Experience with GIS tools would be highly advantageous;
Professional level in using MS Office Suite;
Proficiency in Python programming language and MATLABDuties will include:
Coastal Numerical Modelling
Coordinate and liase with Client, Local Authorities and various Contractors involved in the project.
Manage and provide technical support to Consultant team at site.
Liaise with the Marine Design Team on design/ technical issues.
Convene and attend site meetings
