In-Plant Manager

Our client, a national specialist in the field of Waste Reduction and Procurement (namely food and beverage), is looking for experienced Food Manufacturing Managers. If you have warehouse operations experience in the food industry, then this could be the role for you.
As an In-Plant Manager you would be working on-site with our clients’ various nationwide suppliers. You will be overseeing procurement logistics and acting as an ambassador for our client maintaining positive and stable long-term relationships.
Our client has suppliers throughout the country, consequently this opportunity would suit somebody who loves to travel, meet new people and is happy working away from home. Expenses are covered.
Qualifications / Experience
* Food Manufacturing Management experience (factory floor level essential)
* Related degree or qualification
* Food Health and Safety certificate would be beneficial.
Duties Include:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Stakeholders
* Ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.
* Identify waste streams
* Overseeing quality control and adherence to safety standards.
* Implementing strategic plans to enhance productivity and performance.
* Managing resources effectively to reduce waste and optimise output.
* Reviewing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Providing technical guidance and support.

* Proven experience in a senior operational role within the FMCG industry.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to grow and maintain strong client relationships.
* Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
