Hgv Class 1 Driver

TLP are recruiting HGV Class 1 Driver to join our customers’ operation based in Felixstowe, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a new position within the HGV Driving indstry with the benefit of working with Britain’s largest port. The HGV Class 1 position will be a NIGHTS position.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, (Apply online only), plus weekend availability
Job Role:
* Operating a Tug with trailer
* Shunting containers throughout the port and supporting the rail terminal
* Communicating with colleagues and supervisors via a radio system
* 12 hour Shifts
* Three x 30minute paid breaks
* Follow all health and safety procedure

Requirements:
* Valid HGV 1 Licence
* Previous experience driving on the Port of Felixstowe
* Undertake and pass medical, induction and training, as per customer requirements
* Punctual, reliable & trustworthy
* Excellent communication skills
* Comply with the strict Drug & Alcohol testing requirements
