Role: Company Accountant
Location: Outskirts of March, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum depending on your experience

We're seeking a dedicated individual who would be confident in managing all accounting functions independently. This role offers the opportunity to drive financial efficiency and success within this family run business.

Your duties:
* Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
* Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts
* Preparation and reconciliation of quarterly VAT returns from Sage 50 Accounts
* Processing of weekly and 4 weekly payrolls in Sage 50 Payroll
* Preparation of monthly and year end management information for Directors
* Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
* Credit Control
* Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial Managers
* Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
* Measuring the company’s financial performance based on financial records
* Any other duties which may be required
About you:
* Able to work in a stand-alone role with the responsibility of all Finance functions
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), BSc in Accounting or equivalent
* Solid knowledge of advanced Accounting and Financial principles and practices
* Sage 50 knowledge would be an advantage
* Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
* 5+ years’ experience in a senior Accounting/ Finance position
