Role Overview: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our electrical engineering division. You'll lead the design, engineering, and production processes, collaborating closely with Mechanical Engineers to shape our product development and technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical and electronic components, working closely with senior management.
* Create high-quality yet cost-effective products from the get-go, making sure they're easy to manufacture.
* Provide fast customer support after sales, diagnosing faults and resolving issues quickly.
* Assist Sales and Production teams with technical solutions and detailed documentation.
* Lead the product approval process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Oversee prototype builds, driving innovation and improvement.
Skills/Qualifications:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Strong skills in electronic and electrical design, with project management experience.
* Great problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to finding solutions.
* Experience with product approval processes and engaging with regulatory bodies.
* Ability to balance cost and quality without compromising on either.
* Familiarity with PC operating systems and software.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication.
* Experience with electro-mechanical systems, especially in tough environments.
* Expertise in electrical thermal management and heat exchange systems.
* Understanding of network architecture, including cellular networks.
* Field experience in repairing and maintaining electrical systems.
