Support Worker – Resettlement Accommodation
Location: Covering East Renfrewshire and Glasgow
Salary: Salary of £12.00 per hour will be backdated to 1/4/24 upon receipt of funding from the local authorities. Salary payable until then is £11.00 per hour.
Contract: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract positions available

Our Care Support Workers empower and equip individuals in our care who are experiencing addition, mental health, relationship and financial issues to move on from homeless accommodation.
As our Support Worker you will:
* Support and enable individuals to maintain their accommodation; develop budgeting skills, cook nutritional meals and managing their home.
* Signpost and source appropriate services such as Health Care, Housing Associations, Case Workers, Addiction/Recovery Services.
* Carry out assessments and reviews of support needs as and when necessary due to the changing needs and aspirations of individuals.
* Carry out Risk Enablement Plans as and when necessary due to the changing needs and aspirations of individuals.
* Work with individuals to achieve their desired Support & Development Goals through use of an Outcome Measurement Framework called Better Futures.
* Support individuals to improve their quality of life.
In order to be successful in this role the following is essential:
* Excellent organisational and time management.
* Strong IT skills.
* Good numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills.
* Clear understanding of Health & Social Care Standards.
* Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced homeless accommodation setting.
* At least 1 years’ personal or professional experience in a comparable role with transferable skills is preferred for this post.
It would be great if you had:
* Excellent organisational and time management.
