Our client is a leader in their field and due to a member of staff going on Mat leave, have a minimum 10 month fixed term Maternity cover role. You will ideally have 3 years experience in a similar role. You will ensure all payroll processes are completed accurately, to a high standard and within the set time frames. The role also combines financial support for accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, so that a professional and efficient service is delivered to key stakeholders within the business
Duties and Responbilities
* Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll for business
* Manage salary deductions, additions, pension contributions, absences and any other payroll administration as required
* Processing of new starters and leavers and all associated tasks
* Efficient resolution of any payroll queries
* Lead in any payroll audits and participation in any financial audits as required
* Support with internal and external accounts receivable (revenue) reporting and administration
* Support with internal and external accounts payable (costs) reporting and administration
* Support with month/year end processes for the department
* Accounts payable duties such as purchase order processing, supplier payment runs, company credit card reconciliation etc.
Skills and Experience
* Must have at least 3 years’ experience in payroll processing
* Experience with an IRIS payroll system is preferred, but not essential
* Experience with a financial accounting system is desirable, but not essential.
* Qualified / part qualified to AAT level would be advantageous but not essential.
* Must have meticulous attention to detail
* Must have excellent communication skills
