We’re recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to work on exciting new highways and infrastructure schemes with a tier one contractor. The projects will be delivered for a mixture of clients, such as National Highways, National Grid and the MOD.
The company is going through a period of growth and has a secure order book through their frameworks, major projects and local projects up to £25m. There is an experienced team in place who promote new ideas, responsibility and are ultimately there to offer their support and help progress your career.
The business is happy with hybrid working and will require the Quantity Surveyor to visit their sites to work with the project teams and ensure the successful delivery of their projects.
Experience of working with NEC Contracts is essential.
Key duties:
* Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation
* Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money
* Provide commercial support to the engineering staff
* Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract
* Raise early warning notices, compensation events
* Forecasting and CVR’s
