The company is the market leader in commercial vehicle parts distribution and is part of a $8bn automotive multinational.

The company will offer you:

* A salary of between £25,000 - £30,000

* Mon - Fri 37.5 hours a week

You:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

* Previous Accounts Assistant experience

* Previous Purchase Ledger experience

* Ideally, studying towards an accountancy qualification or keen to do so

* Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good Excel knowledge is essential.

The role:

* Overseeing the purchase ledger

* Managing employee expense claims and company credit card expenses.

* Reconciling cash payments to all bank accounts.

* Posting cash payments to the ledger

* Setting up supplier payments on the bank

* Overseeing petty cash postings and reconciliations.

* Overseeing the aged debt collection process

* Assist the Financial Controller with month-end management accounts. This will include, but not be limited to, accruals/prepayments, Fixed Assets, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and journal postings to the ledger.

This is not your average account assistant position. You will need previous experience, however, the salary reflects this.
