We are representing a credible Firm of Independent Financial Planners who have a large presence throughout the Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced team of Paraplanners to create bespoke Technical Suitability reports to their extensive Client base.
You will be working closely with our Financial Planners and the competent production of suitability reports. Our Client also offer the opportunity to work closely with our Investment Committee and gain experience in other compliance-related activities as well as development into becoming a Financial Planner role should that be an aspiration.
 
Duties Responsibilities
Work closely with a nominated Financial Planner(s) to formulate advice, ensure client files remain compliant and produce competent suitability reports
Complete annual suitability review letters for a nominated Financial Planner(s) and raise any other potential queries with the Financial Planner(s)
Assist the Paraplanning Supervisor and Investment Committee in maintaining centrally held research for the firm’s central investment proposition
Maintain accurate information within the firm’s CRM Specific Responsibilities
Act as a ‘point of contact’ within the office for a nominated Financial Planner(s), ensuring the Financial Planner(s) cases are logged within the team and provide regular updates on the stage each case is at
Preparing compliant suitability reports and conduct a general assessment of a client’s circumstances and identify areas for financial planning review existing portfolio/arrangements in terms of; asset allocation, risk profile, cost, performance, taxation, suitability for client objectives etc
Undertake research both independently and with the financial planner to identity suitable solutions to meet clients’ needs to Communicating with providers and obtaining all plan information relevant to advice being given o Prepare information/comparisons for analysis by financial planner o Consider tax and legal implications of any advice given to ensure supporting research, documentation and records meet FCA’s requirements to Prepare draft suitability reports in accordance with agreed recommendations to be discussed/signed off by the Financial Planner’s.
Completion of annual suitability review letters in a timely and accurate manner
Conduct research on ad-hoc withdrawals of plans to assess suitability You will need to have industry related experience to be considered and ideally be Level 4 Diploma qualified OR working towards.
