Career Connections Recruiting is seeking a Behavior Consultant to join a leading Autism service provider in Lancaster, PA. As a Behavior Consultant, you will work closely with individuals with autism and related disabilities to develop and implement behavior treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide training and support to caregivers. Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior treatment plans
Provide direct behavior therapy services to clients, including implementing treatment plans and teaching new skills
Train and support caregivers in implementing behavior strategies and techniques
Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech pathologists and occupational therapists, to provide coordinated care
Monitor client progress and make modifications to treatment plans as needed
Keep detailed records and documentation of client sessions and progress
Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Two years of experience working with individuals with autism or related disabilities
Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior treatment plans
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Must have/obtain current ‘clean’ background clearances required by IBHS, MA, and other relevant PA State Regulations
Must be available to serve clients in multiple locations
Must be available to provide services, attend meetings, and support clients Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is a plus
