About the Role:
As a Commissioning Technician, you'll be instrumental in the start-up and commissioning of cutting-edge hardware and software, tailored to meet customer specifications. This field support position offers an exceptional chance to work under the guidance of the Manager of Technical Services and the Director of Operations, with responsibilities that span across oversight, management, and site supervision to align with project objectives and timelines.
Your Mission:
Spearhead the commissioning of projects and products, ensuring seamless equipment start-up and debugging.
Verify installations, debug control systems, and maintain the integrity of project specifications.
Engage in project performance analysis, data collection, and contribute actively to project scheduling.
Generate detailed site reports, offer standby customer support, and assist in supplier selection and management.
Embrace extensive travel, leading on-site supervision and team collaboration to drive project success.
Who You Are:
Armed with a High School Diploma (Bachelors preferred) and at least 5 years in a relevant field.
A connoisseur of paint finishing products or similar industries, with a keen understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
Proficient in P&ID schematics, regulatory standards, PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is a bonus.
You possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Adaptable and ready to tackle challenges in a learning environment, with openness to overtime and travel.
