Our client is a successful construction business with a national profile and continues to expand. They are a diverse, projects focused, business spanning across Industrial, Commercial, and Residential. They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team to continue the forward momentum.
Opportunity:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee various building projects, assuming full responsibility for managing their commercial aspects from inception to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that each project meets the stated quality standards and delivers customer satisfaction. You will drive the commercial success of each project from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and price project variations in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Generate Bill of Quantities based on provided drawings and specifications.
* Prepare and maintain the contract budget.
* Handle contractual and legal aspects of projects.
* Coordinate with both clients and design teams.
* Administer contract records efficiently.
* Produce monthly Job Cost Reports.
* Attend contractor site meetings and weekly contract review meetings.
* Foster relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and professional teams.
* Manage projects from initial tender stage to final account settlement.
Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
* Prior experience in contracting is essential.
* Selfmotivated individual with the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Competency in relevant software applications (MS Products, AutoCAD, Revit etc.).
Remuneration:
As an indication salary will be in the range of €50,000-€65,000. Additional benefits available and will be agreed with the successful candidate during final discussions.
