Job Opportunity: ECT - Primary

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future generation? We're seeking a dedicated ECT to join our team starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of children aged 5 - 11 years old.

Position: ECT - Primary

Start Date: September 2024

Duration: Long-term, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages children to reach their full potential.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians as necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and educational activities that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues, maintaining open communication channels to support the overall well-being and academic success of each child.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (PGCE/QTS preferred).
Relevant experience working with early years or primary-aged children.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and a child-centered approach to teaching and learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young children and their families.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
