English Teacher (3dpw)

We work closely with a local Portsmouth Secondary School who are looking for an English Teacher for 3 days per week, starting ASAP.

Payment to scale for Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status.

Responsibilities:

* Teaching up to GCSE level English to Years 8, 9, and 10

* Planning will be required and PPA time provided.

* The successful candidate will prove they are effective collaborators with all staff, and visitors.

* Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of safeguarding.

* Actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school.

* Your personal Health and Safety at work, reporting concerns.

* Committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable, or equivalent.

* DBS Enhanced Disclosure

* Teaching References

* A passion for teaching, and good knowledge of the subject area.

* To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals

* Reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

* Able to engage all students
