We’re looking for a HGV Technician to join an existing team working alternating Early/Late shifts as a Shift Leader.

Duties:
· You will make sure that trucks are back on the road as fast as possible when they require maintenance.
· Act as a quality and technical support for staff, providing control and direct quality, efficiency, discipline in the use of resources and H&S.
· Be responsible for communication of Company Policy and development of a culture of Continues Improvement.
· To repair and service HGVs & LCVs in a safe, efficient, and economical manner.
The Candidate:
We are looking for:
· Completed secondary vocational education,
· Broad vehicle- related technical knowledge,
· Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components, and associated vehicles,
· familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.
You are also required to provide your own tools and have a valid driver’s licence- HGV preferred.
Location: Reading
Pay Rate: £40,000-£45,000.
Working Hours: Early/Late Shifts
