Full job description

We are seeking a Mechanically skilled person to join our team. The work is varied but is principally to manage and maintain plant and fleet equipment and vehicle fleet.

The role would suit a mechanically minded person with the ability to maintain and repair all sorts of equipment and plant. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as servicing , repairs maintenance and management
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential problems
- Test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment mechanics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17 – 25.5 per week
