Banner Lane has been retained by a specialist high-tech defence electronics company to recruit a Project Manager.
Our client is a fast-growing SME that specialises in bespoke Radio Frequency (RF) systems and products for a variety of military, government and commercial applications.
As a Project Manager you will work with government and military customers to supply fully customisable RF Systems for Signals Intelligence and Communications Intelligence purposes.
The product portfolio also extends to Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) defeat systems.
Reporting into the Programme Manager, your principal task will be to foster a close alignment between PPM’s operational activities and their strategic objectives, underlining their commitment to meticulous execution, team unity, and robust stakeholder engagement.
You will take charge of tendering for and delivering bespoke products, managing key project elements such as time, budget, and resources, while also expanding PPM's network through effective interaction with external vendors and suppliers.
To succeed in this role, candidates should hold an electronics degree or have equivalent experience, along with at least 5 years' worth of comprehensive project management experience.
Familiarity with Agile project management processes and exposure to production will be beneficial.
A background in a military environment, knowledge of cellular, SatCom, and other wireless interface standards would be desirable but not mandatory.
