Job Title: Customer Advisor – Engineering Support (administration)

Location: Belfast

Duration: Full Time Permanent position

Hours: 8.30am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30am-4:30pm, Friday. 37 hours per week.

Salary: Starting at £21,100.

On behalf of our client, a Top Northern Ireland service provider and award-winning employer, we have a new opportunity for a Customer Advisor to join their team. The primary function is to provide engineering support, including administration duties and to ensure the smooth running of the operation of the business.

The candidate will be responsible for the dispatch of engineers to jobs, using handheld devices along with support of colleagues and will record all relevant details onto Concerto as required. The candidate will also use their effective communication skills to liaise with customers to agree appointment dates and resolve problems and complaints that may arise. In using your communication skills, you will also liaise with departments within the company to help resolve customer related issues within company standards of service.

You will use your excellent organisational ability to support all processes required to ensure effective operation of emergency services including rota preparation, database update, liaison with dispatch centre and issue of safety notices to the Health and Safety Inspectorate as required. You will also support engineers with work related queries and fact finding information when requested.

You will have excellent attention to detail in order to support processes to ensure that all Customer Chargeable quotations and renewals are issued in a timely controlled manner while also supporting the timely provision of reports to management concerning business objectives.

The candidate will be able to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies to ensure an integrated contribution to the company’s corporate objectives.

Essential criteria

* English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.

* Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience within an office/administration function.

* Experience of working in a high pressurised environment.

* Comprehensive IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages, in particular, MS Excel.
