Established manufacturing business that have multiple sites across the UK are looking a new Senior Supervisor. Supporting the Factory Manager, the main responsibilities will be to meet all budgeted material and labour costs whilst maintaining quality and service levels to ensure the company retains its market leadership. Promote positive working relationships between staff, clients and suppliers.

Job Description of a Senior Supervisor
The postholder will monitor line efficiencies and motivate operatives to ensure production targets are met, have an understanding and ability to control and update: end of the months stock takes, employee attendance records, KPI’s and MS NAV when required.
Manage training for all new factory operatives coming into the business (manufacturing) on all aspects of production/machine operation/setting/safety/quality.
Manage team and individual performances against set targets and KPI’s and ensure that paperwork is completed and that operatives are carrying out the appropriate checks.
Keeping the factory clean, ensure safety policy standards are promoted and be pro active to develop good relationships across the business.
Skills & experience of a Senior Supervisor
Have experience of working in a supervisory capacity and leading teams of up to 20 staff, be confident in driving 5s, CI and lean methodologies as well having good it skills. An enthusiastic, energetic and motivated leader would be a great fit for this job!
