Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a role within an industry-leading organisation that specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of technical storage vessels, within this senior role you will work within a team of 15 design engineers continuously adding value to their complex design projects?
In this role you will provide design support to technically exciting projects using your varied knowledge of mechanical engineering, working collaboratively within the design team to design cryogenic vessels to enhance and improve clients engineering services.

You will play a key role within this specialist engineering organisation through comprehensively understanding the clients specifications and providing them with expert designs to suit their project needs.

This role would suit a Chartered Mechanical Engineer or someone working towards their chartership, who comes from a hands-on engineering background within a fabrication or pressure vessel industry. The Role:

Lead the engineering team, drive continuous improvement throughout the design process
Design new products in accordance with relevant specifications, company quality procedures and industry standards
Produce and check engineering documents
Ensure all design outputs are in accordance with design inputs
Ensure document numbering and revision control procedures are followed.
Submit Technical Requisition documents for subcontracted or sub-vended engineering scope.
Submit Technical Requisition documents for any 3rd party design review or verification.
Report any design changes which may have a cost or schedule impact to the relevant project personnel.
Ensure that any Engineering relevant Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) are investigated, resolved and documented with engineering participation in root cause analysis.
Produce project plans for new design work and distribute within functional teams in engineeringThe Person:
