Salary: £30,082 - £33,424 per annum
The Forward Trust are a UK leading provider of drug and alcohol treatment services to offenders. We deliver treatment and recovery support – in prisons and in the community – which helps people move away from addiction and crime. These services provide a variety of support, including advice, counselling, group work and intensive treatment. What you will be doing
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of Health and Well-being Practitioners. This role is based on site at HMP Downview, a female closed category prison located in Sutton.
Day-to-day a Team Leader will:
* Oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of the Substance Misuse Service at HMP Downview alongside the Service Manager.
* Provide support, supervision and line management to the team.
* Hold a caseload of complex service users and deliver interventions both 1:1 and group facilitation.
* Develop team and individual objectives to achieve targets set by Forward Trust, commissioners and key stakeholders.
* Proactively engage and establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
* Ensure case management and group programme are effectively planned and delivered to organisational standards.
* Support and monitor supervisees to ensure appropriate caseload management in line with service contract and specification.
* Support recruitment and retention activities.
* monitor outcomes of performance and support appropriate data collection and submissions where necessary.
* Contribute to ongoing service improvement and risk management in accordance with the needs of the service users, audit and CQC requirements.
*** Please be aware the service operates over 7 days a week therefore weekend working will be required on a rota basis***

* Experience of direct line management or supervisory responsibilities
* Awareness of the issues faced by those impacted by addiction or offending
