An international shipping and logistics company in South Liverpool are currently seeking a Sea Freight Import Clerk to work on their sea freight team. The purpose of the role will be to handle all importing procedures from worldwide destinations. On offer is a basic salary of up to £30,000 working Monday to Friday.
The main duties of a Sea Freight Import Clerk are:
Full end to end import procedures.
Receiving and processing shipping documentation.
Issuing notices of arrival.
Providing customers clearance instructions.
Liaising with colleagues and clients worldwide.
Arranging deliveries as and when required.
Processing purchase orders and raising invoices.
