Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager required to join our client, a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Stockport to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This close-knit Accountancy Practice works with a range of clients to offer tailored services.

You will be responsible for communicating with clients as well as delegating work to junior members of staff.

Senior Accountant Position Overview

Preparation of year-end accounts for a variety of clients
Preparation of Month End Accounts
Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts if possible
Drafting of tax computations
Preparation of VAT returns
Other ad hoc work as required
Client Management
Reporting to Directors

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience within Accountancy Practice
Audit experience extremely beneficial
QBE or AAT qualified
Previous experience with IRIS beneficial
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Based locally to Sutton Coldfield

Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum
9am - 5pm
25 days + bank holidays
