They are involved with acoustics at all stages of construction and have an international reach. They are looking for an Acoustic Consultant with one year experience to take their career to the next level!
The role:
My client is looking for an enthusiastic Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic team, in Stockport. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of projects, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions in acoustics, noise, and vibration.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct environmental noise assessments.
Perform sound insulation testing for compliance with building regulations.
Design acoustic solutions for a range of exciting projects.
Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
Undertake acoustic modelling using the latest software.
The ideal candidate will have:
Degree in Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
Minimum of one year of professional experience in an Acoustic Consultancy role.
Proficiency using Acoustic modelling software and noise measuring equipment (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
Strong understanding of UK noise regulations and building standards.
Membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IoA), is preferred.
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Full UK driver's license.
