Contek Recruitment are currently working exclusively with an engineering client who specialize in producing aluminium gravity die castings from a foundry environment.
Our client have been operating for over 80 years and currently operate from their new facility in Aylesford, Kent. They are acreddited to both ISO:9001 and AS 9001 standards.
Our client have a well equipped sand foundry, who produce cast irons, graphite irons, bronze, and aluminium. They are currently investing heavily in their facility and equipment, including purchasing new resistance furnaces for the die foundry, and new induction furnaces for the sand foundry.
They are now looking for someone who they can train up from scratch to become a Diecaster, this role is permanent, and on a full-time basis. There is no experience required for this position.
Duties:
* Learning from and working with experienced Diecasters on a daily basis.
* Producing high quality die castings for various industries.
* Self-inspection of castings.
* Working in a busy foundry environment.
Pay: £33k - £36k per year - Overtime is consistently available and the earning potential is significant for the right person. Consistent overtime could earn you up to £40k per year.
