Job Overview:
Randstad is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment Team in North Tyneside.
This role focuses on evaluating and responding to the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and wellbeing through comprehensive assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of children and families referred to the Assessment Team.
Gather and analyze information from various sources to inform decisions and interventions.
Identify and address risks and safeguarding concerns.
Collaborate with partner agencies, including health services, police, and education providers.
Provide guidance and support to colleagues and partner agencies on safeguarding matters.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
Experience in a similar role, preferably within an assessment or safeguarding team.
Ability to manage a demanding caseload and work under pressure.
Knowledge of relevant child protection legislation and procedures.Benefits:
