Director of Supply Chain Strategy

Director of Supply Chain Strategy, Lincoln, salary up to C £90,000, bonus, car allowance, enhanced pension, and further benefits.
Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a hugely successful manufacturing company, who are looking to appoint a Director of Supply Chain Strategy. The main purpose of this role will be to design, develop and implement supply chain processes, as well as provide business analysis, whilst leading and connecting all supply chain functions.
Key responsibilities of the Director of Supply Chain Strategy
* Leading ongoing reviews of business processes, developing and implementing optimisation strategies and business process improvements
* Developing and implementing supply chain policies, procedures, and systems
* Liaising with cross-functional leads to ensure business unit level end-to-end processes are adequately mapped
* Providing analytics support to sales, operations, and supply chain to drive critical decisions
* Leading a team of business analysts to review business and operational performances and provide recommendations
* Business partner to the sales leadership team to develop pricing strategy and LTAs with the key accounts
* Aligning departments to deliver a world class service to customers, and achieve accurate capacity and demand planning
* Effectively managing direct and indirect suppliers to ensure a quality and delivery compliant supplier footprint at optimised cost
* Providing regular and accurate sales forecasts
We are looking for a result orientated Supply Chain Director with strong analytical skills, an understanding of making decisions in a cross-functional manner and, experience of supply chain across global manufacturing with continuous improvement, operational excellence and innovation as a core competence/culture.
