We have an exciting opportunity to join our join our Asset Governance team supporting our B2B Business as an Asset Compliance Lead.

Here's what you'll be doing

As part of the role you will be ensuring that all external certifications, accreditations and requirements relating to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality and Asset Management are maintained and continually improved. You will be identifying and leading on improvement projects that benefit both the Business to Business Integrated Management System (IMS) and our wider EIS business.

You will champion key SHEQ initiatives focused on preventing accidents and incidents. Provide process and procedural guidance to ensure adherence to SHEQ compliance throughout the project lifecycle (inception, delivery, and beyond).

You will also empower leadership and management teams to understand current compliance status and allow prioritisation for actions and engagement with wider teams across the business to ensure we are achieving our SHEQ goals. This will be done through generating reports, analysing trends and risk assessment associated with all SHEQ KPIs

You’ll also support with -

*

Leading the review and updating B2B policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standard changes (e.g., ISO or general law).

Deliver internal and external audits, managing non-conformities to closure within set timescales (e.g., 30 days).

*

Partner with the B2B SHEQ Manager to deliver and streamline ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), ensuring continual improvement based on audit findings.

Drive continuous improvement by implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) based on risk assessments and audit findings

What we need from you

* NEBOSH qualification AND significant experience working within a SHEQ compliance role.

*

Working towards or achieved Environmental Management qualification or IEMA foundation.

*

Working towards or achieved Internal Auditor qualification in 9001 or 45001.

*

Demonstrable experience of auditing SHEQ or Management System topics

*

Project management experience in an operational support environment, together with the ability to identify, develop and manage the introduction of changes to processes within the project team.

*

Demonstrable experience in a specialist compliance/governance role with broad and in-depth knowledge areas plus the proven ability to collaborate with the wider business

*

A working knowledge of IT Office and Governance Systems and the ability to own and adapt quickly to changes to those systems.

*

Risk management experience including facilitation of risk management workshops.

*

Ability to drive and visit operational site locations on a regular basis.
