Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and growing accountancy practice? My client are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join the team in Walsall. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a crucial part in maintaining precise financial reporting and general ledger accounting.

In this role, you will:

Manage and oversee general ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct thorough month-end reconciliations and review sales and Work in Progress (WIP) movements.
Monitor and strategize supplier payments, optimizing efficiency while maintaining financial integrity.
Execute journal postings and meticulously review expenses and costings.
Scrutinize bank reconciliations and tackle various ad hoc finance tasks.
Collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller in a hands-on capacity, providing ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Facilitate the smooth transition of newly acquired companies into our financial processes, balancing effective financial controls with operational agility.You

Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Is dependable and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Possesses proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting software.
ACCA/ACA Qualified, Part-Qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
