Our client is a small, friendly, well-established and well-respected food manufacturing company seeking a Technical Manager to champion their Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with the BRC Food Standard and maintaining robust health and safety protocols. As the Technical Manager, your primary focus will be to manage and refine the Quality Management System in alignment with the latest BRC Food Standard. Your role will include overseeing health and safety procedures, managing SEDEX, and ensuring ethical standards are met through meticulous audits. Your technical acumen will be essential in integrating customer code of practices with existing site procedures.
The role demands a professional who can communicate effectively across all levels of management and staff, fostering a collaborative environment. A competent understanding of technical matters within the industry together with computer literacy, is essential.
Your ability to provide competent technical and audit support will be key in maintaining strong relationships with customer technical contacts and assisting with peak activity tasks as necessary. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to observe all company policies and procedures, ensuring quality, food safety, authenticity, and legality are uncompromised.
