Rhino Recruitment is working with an advanced manufacturing company based in Port Talbot, we are loooking for someone who has experience working in a fast paced consumer goods facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently
- Diagnose faults and repair equipment
- Upkeep of reports and records
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Experience
- Experience in FMCG
- Previous experience in a BRC Certified workplace. (desirable)
- Machining and Welding (desirable)
- Previous experience reacting to mechanical breakdowns
Qualifications
- HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. (desirable)
- 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at A-C grade which will include English, Mathematics and Science. (essential)
- Time served mechanical apprenticeship. (essential)
- Counterbalance forklift licence. (advantageous – not essential)

The vacancy is permanent and full time working a continental shift pattern (average 43 hour week)
Total annual salary £42–48,000 depending on experience inclusive of shift premium.
