Sales Consultant - Inbound Sales

Are you a Sales Consultant with experience in Life Insurance, Income Protection, or the Mortgage sector? What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Consultant in the Protection department, you will guide customers to the best Life Insurance, Income Protection, and Unemployment Cover options to meet their specific needs. You will handle customer enquiries from our partners and direct marketing, ensuring exceptional service through your market expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Build relationships and perform detailed fact-finds to understand customer needs.
Match customer needs with suitable policies and explain the benefits.
Liaise with insurer partners to stay updated on policies and practices.
Handle customer complaints and cancellations effectively.
Maintain high compliance standards and adhere to FCA regulations.
Keep updated with industry regulations and underwriting criteria.
Ensure all tasks are completed on time daily.
Support colleagues and management for optimal outcomes.
Communicate professionally via telephone and email.Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade C or above.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable, honest, and passionate about customer service.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Self-motivated with a positive work ethic.
Previous experience in Income Protection Sales.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Ability to work 37.5 hours per week on a flexible basis.Desirable:

CII or IFS Qualifications, or willingness to pursue them.
Minimum 1-year experience in an FCA-regulated sales environment.
Commitment to self-development.
Experience working with defined KPIs.What You'll Get in Return

Uncapped commission potential (OTE £60,000-£80,000).
