Working on a 5-star Holiday Home & Lodge Park, you will be responsible for managing the 100 cover Bar and Bistro, ensuring our guests receive 5-star service and standards throughout their stay. The successful candidate will be able to plan and manage all Food and Beverage orders, team and finances. Your responsibilities will include: 
 
Customer Service

Maintaining a professional manner, ensuring our customers receive excellent service at all times
Regular service training with your team, to ensure standards remain high and waste is kept to a minimum
Maintaining a proactive attitude in promoting the park to all visitors and guests, including future business
Helping your team build knowledge of what is available on the park and the surrounding area, to assist holiday makers enjoy their stay
Maximise sales and profit through optimum customer satisfaction levels
Dealing with any customer complaints in a professional and understanding manner, using initiative to resolve situations at the time and exceed satisfaction levels
Generating, organising and running promotions/low key events for peak times, such as Halloween, Valentine’s Day, themed events etc.  
Financial

Delivering the targeted GP% for food and drinks
Regularly examining the P&L accounts for your department, ensuring invoices are accurately allocated, in conjunction with the Purchase Order system
Monitoring stock control, ensuring sales are not hindered by lack of stock and GP’s are met by portion/measure control
Completing the daily banking, ensuring the takings reports match the cash and card payments taken
Maximising sales, working with your fellow management team to encourage holiday makers to visit the Bar & Bistro  
Management Duties 

Being involved operationally, serving food and drink, when necessary
Having the availability to design, alter and create a menu aimed at our customer base in conjunction with the Head Chef
Producing team rotas and shift rolls, ensuring the Bar/Bistro and Kitchen have the adequate team to cope with demand, whilst upholding wage budgets
Complying with all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations and using our company system PRIME Safety to log data relating to this
Ensuring company, and legal, policies and procedures are enforced, and your team are informed of these policies
Administration duties, including daily/weekly tasks required for the accounts department at Head Office, including the following of procurement procedures
The upkeep of the Bar/Bistro and Kitchen, including line cleans, deep cleans, stock rotation, cellar organising etc.
Ordering stock and ensuring it is delivered in good and at an appropriate time
Motivating and managing your team, ensuring they understand their role within the business and have the necessary tools to perform to the highest standards
Performing regular service training with all your team, ensuring 5-star standards are delivered consistently
Working with the Head Chef to ensure quality meals are delivered at all times
HR related procedures, such as recruitment, performing appraisals and dealing with any team concerns or issues
Attending and taking at active role in Head’s of Departments meetings
Holding regular team meetings, keeping your team informed in all aspects, including how the department is performing
To complete any other duties requested of you by the management team  
Essential Requirements

Professional Food & Beverage Manager who has an extensive understanding of the industry and experience working for a 5-star business
Excellent managerial and organisational skills
A friendly and approachable personality, including good communication skills relating to team and public alike
Self-motivated and committed to delivering excellent service
5-star personal presentation
Personal licence holder
Food & Hygiene certification, level 3 or above
A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location of the park  
Desirable Requirements

First aid qualifications would be beneficial but not essential
A current DBS Check with the update service, but if not this will be gained during the recruitment process

Terms and Conditions
 
Contract Type: This is a full time permanent role, on the receipt of successful references, completion of a 6 month probationary period and a satisfactory DBS Check.
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 Per Annum, (depending upon qualifying criteria) Hours: a minimum of 45 per week, The role will involve working evenings and weekends, depending upon rotas
Holidays: 31 Days per year, including Bank Holidays
Pension: This is an Auto Enrolment Work Place Pension
Meal Breaks: are unpaid
Uniform: A uniform is provided and must be worn at all times when on duty
