Social Worker - Assessment Team (Children's Services)

Position: Social Worker

Salary: £35 per hour

Doncaster Children's Services is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Assessment Team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in need of support and protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
Developing and implementing child protection plans and support packages.
Collaborating with internal teams, external agencies, and professionals to ensure coordinated care and support.
Providing advocacy and support to children and families throughout the assessment process.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with experience in children's services and assessment work.
Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
