The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in prop trading, putting on manual trades based on their own decision making/based on their own algo strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Execute proprietary trades across a variety of financial instruments, including equities, options, futures, and FX.
* Develop and implement trading strategies based on market analysis, quantitative research, and proprietary algorithms.
* Utilise technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and quantitative modelling techniques to identify trading opportunities.
* Monitor market trends and economic indicators to adjust trading strategies accordingly.
* Manage risk exposure and adhere to risk management protocols.
* Collaborate with other team members to optimise trading performance and share insights.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in proprietary trading.
* Strong decision-making skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
* Competent in either Python or VBA.
* Excellent understanding of financial markets and trading strategies.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field (preferred)
