Join our dynamic team of Engineers at Siemens Data Centers' rapidly expanding business unit in the Netherlands, which oversees medium to large-scale projects worldwide. As our business grows, we're seeking additional team members, particularly for the E-house department, focusing on prefabricated substations used as power distribution centers.

Your responsibilities will vary based on your specific job description, but you'll collaborate closely with a team of (lead) engineers. With short delivery times and high customer demands, you'll thrive in a dynamic project environment. Your role will involve full project engagement from concept to delivery, maintaining communication with our customers and E-house manufacturer locations. Expect to conduct site and factory visits, requiring regular short-term travel.

Following activities could fall into your roles and responsibilities:

• Generate detailed designs (Electrical or Mechanical).

• Investigate and advise on different subjects like: Mechanical or electrical interfacing, lay-outs, choice of components, fire safety, HVAC, electrical systems, cabling and containment, etc.

• Interfacing with your direct co-workers for low voltage, medium voltage and busbar systems.

• Review of basic designs, detailed designs and project related documentation.

• Proactively communicate with the customer and suppliers on project related aspects.

• Organize and attend factory acceptance tests (FAT).

• Prepare the technical documentation package.

• In-office support for the production and on-site delivery.

• Proper project closing and handover.

• Initiate and execute process, product and project improvements.

• Bachelor degree or a Master degree, with at least 1 year of experience. Education: Electrical engineering and power engineering

• Precise, positive, critical and a broad technical interest.

• Flexible working attitude, hands-on and result driven.

• Good communicator, not scared to ask the difficult questions and always eager to learn more.

• Fluent in English, basic Dutch or willing to learn.

• Driver license.

Primary employment conditions

• A gross monthly salary of up to €3600
• A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
• 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

Secondary employment conditions

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
