We have been directed by a pioneering Surrey based engineering company, dedicated to sustainable practice and minimising their environmental footprint, to source a Procurement Specialist to support their company grow towards a greener future. In this role, the right candidate will develop and manage procurement processes aligned with our client's exciting growth plans, emphasising sustainability at every step.
You'll work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, manage component flows, and drive cost reductions while considering the environmental impact. From identifying suppliers to leading end-to-end sourcing activities, you'll play a pivotal role in building a sustainable supply chain. Collaborating with the engineering teams, you'll address commercial supplier issues while ensuring our clients environmental standards are upheld.
We're looking for candidates with procurement experience and a strong commitment to sustainability. Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills are beneficial. Experience with ERP systems, detailed quotation analysis, and supply base management in manufacturing, preferably automotive, is preferred.
