The EMEA Customs and Trade compliance team serves as the center of expertise for ensuring seamless product flow into and within the ASICS EMEA region. As the Manager of Customs and Trade Compliance Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving compliance with customs and trade regulations while optimizing operational efficiency across regions.

How you'll help us.

• Lead and guide the customs and trade compliance operations team.
• Ensure smooth customs management for imports and exports, including coordinating audits by customs authorities in multiple regions.
• Coordinate and control all external broker activities.
• Manage customs clearance activities, including classification, valuation, and documentation.
• Monitor and implement changes in customs and trade compliance regulations.
• Own and enhance ASICS Customs and Trade Compliance IT systems.
• Provide meaningful KPIs and analytical insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support finance and tax audits.
• Co-develop a central ASICS EMEA Trade compliance roadmap, focusing on CSR and EPR regulations.
• Drive large-scale projects within your area of expertise.
• Build and maintain relationships with customs authorities and government agencies.
• Act as a center of excellence for relevant departments within ASICS.
• Build an effective organizational structure and provide leadership, training, and career development opportunities.
• Ensure appropriate leadership skills at every level and foster open communication and discussion.
• Motivate stakeholders to understand and apply customs know-how effectively

More about you.

• University degree in SCM, Finance, Customs, or related field.
• 8-10 years of professional experience in customs and import/export.
• Experience with AEO certification and tax law.
• Official training certificate as a Customs specialist.
• Knowledge of customs law in various regions, including the UK, ZA, NO, CH.
• Fluency in English; French and German proficiency is a plus.
