Basic Electronics Training Instructor

Contingent upon contract award
Duties: Basic Electronics Training (BET) Instructors facilitate learning via hands-on course that is built on the foundation of Electricians course and is intended for electricians and technicians who install, repair or troubleshoot electronic systems. Students will learn systematic troubleshooting and knowledge of various types of electronic circuits combined with a systematic troubleshooting approach. This training is self-paced however, instructor/facilitators are directed to keep students on the historical times for each Module, Lessons, Practical Exercises and Assessments.
Requirements
Requirements for all Instructor and Instructor/Writer Support Personnel:
Graduate of the Army Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFDIC) within the last 5 years or other service instructor course within the last 5 years.
Certificate must be provided for training folders.
Graduate of the Installation Staff and Contractors Training Course (ISCTC) within the last 3 years.
Certificate must be provided for training folders.
Completed Blackboard Training.
Three (3) years technical experience in electronics repair
One (1) year experience as an instructor or instructor/writer.
One (1) year of specialized experience with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully. (Specialized experience is defined as experience in teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s); supervising or administering a training program; development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results. As well as work in the occupation or subject matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.)
In-depth knowledge of basic electronics, and an understanding of logistics fundamentals, test measurement and diagnostics equipment (TMDE) operations, and experience in the operation, troubleshooting, and repair of the specified equipment and systems as outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
Proficient with MS office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Knowledgeable of all applicable regulations and doctrine regarding military training.
Shall not possess claustrophobic tendencies.
Shall possess hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity in both hands and have normal Red/Green (RG) color discrimination.
* Able to endure and work with long periods of standing, sitting, or walking, and inclement weather conditions on occasion.
BET Instructor Required Qualifications
Completed Computerized Basic Electronics Training (CBET).
Obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
* Advanced math skills preferred.
